With regards to the Thorchain incident, there are a couple of things to take into account.
1) If Thorchain subsidizes/refunds the losses, the claim is not likely to be valid.
The most recent communications from the Thorchain teams indicate that the losses will be subsidized by their treasury but finer details on payouts are still TBD. We double checked this with the Thorchain team directly this morning.
2) If losses are not refunded, there is a 3 day cool down period since the event before claims are to be submitted.
TL;DR: Please wait for the 3 day cool down period before submitting any claims for active Thorchain covers.
